WORLD FALCONRY DAY 2013

Each year, on 16th NOVEMBER, associations and falconers worldwide (whether or not forming part of the IAF), public and private entities (whether or not economic interests), and generally anyone interested in developing activities within the framework coordinated by the IAF, from largest number of countries, working with a common theme related to falconry.

The first edition will take place on November 16th, 2013, the third anniversary of the recognition of falconry by UNESCO. 2013 is the tenth anniversary of the UNESCO ICH Convention.The World Falconry Day will be organized by a committee set up especially for this purpose within the IAF. Coordinator is expected to be Javier Ceballos (Spain), with the help of PPRR Veronique Blontrock (Belgium), Patrizia Cimberio (Italy), Yukio Asaoka (Japan), Dan Cecchini (America) and our Executive Secretary Gary Timbrell (Ireland).

At the recent Annual General Meeting of the IAF in the Netherlands the establishment of a World Falconry Day was unanimously approved. On November 16th of each year, participants from the largest possible number of countries, are invited to work to a common theme related to falconry. The main objectives are to identify and promote falconry by: - Promoting the feeling of belonging to the falconry community
- Increasing the visibility of falconry to society
- Promoting cooperation in different sectors in favor of falconry (academic, cultural, social, political ....)
World Falconry Day will be held every year on November 16th. This year it coincides with the third anniversary of the recognition of falconry by UNESCO and is also the tenth anniversary of the UNESCO Convention for Intangible Cultural Heritage. Falconry has been the most prestigiously international inscription in the history of the Convention. The slogan of World Falconry Day for 2013 is ¨Falconry: celebrating a Living Human Heritage”.
Global falconry day is being organized by an IAF working group set up especially for this purpose, coordinated by Dr. Javier Ceballos, international delegate for AECCA, the Spanish Falconers' Association. HOW TO PARTECIPATE To participate simply fill the submission form belowe.
Events proposed by IAF member organizations and / or members of the working group will be assessed for eventual integration into the official program which will be promoted on the IAF website, through press releases and through the UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage.
Clubs and organizations can participate, so can individual falconers all over the world (whether or not they are part of the IAF), public and private entities can participate (whether or not they have commercial or economic interests), and generally anyone interested. Proposals for collective and individual initiatives will be posted on the IAF website [Devi essere iscritto e connesso per vedere questo link] Any falconer can take part or anyone close to falconry, regardless of sex, race, religion or culture; the only consideration is that the activity should be designed to develop a good image of falconry. With the aim of feeding the sense of belonging to the falconry community everyone is encouraged to use the logo designed for this purpose. Its use is free and it can be downloaded from the IAF website. The IAF is not responsible for any inappropriate use the WFD logo. If you want to record your activity in the official program of the WFD, the programme that will be displayed on the website of the IAF, applicants will have to keep to the following:

1. Fill the submission form belowe

3. If the proposal is accepted, the IAF's WFD Working Group will include it on all official programmes of events literature.
4. When the applicant receives the registration of its activity in the official program they may use the main IAF logo. Academic: lecture s, seminars, conferences…
Cultural: exhibition in museums and civic buildings of artworks related to falconry, documentaries, guided tours in museums to show masterpieces related to falconry, Proposed routes & visits where it is possible see falconry’s masterpieces (example: falconry Romanesque capitals in the province of Segovia, Spain XIIIth - XIVth centuries, or paintings of falconry in the Palace of Siena, Italy), falconry exhibitions, expositions ...
Schools: presentations at schools, school competitions writing, drawing, whole day visits to schools by groups of falconers ...
Social: visits to airports where falconry is used as a resource to ensure flight safety, participation in hunting parties with falconry birds
Presence in the Media: TV and radio interviews, press articles, reports. INTERNATIONAL COORDINATION IAF will coordinate things internationally, but there is no need to go through IAF if you want to host an event and promote it yourself, you can still use the WFD logo (just not the IAF one). Organizations wishing to go through IAF should submit its ideas which must be supported by the falconry community in their country, and by different institutions.

E' un'aquila, usata per la caccia ai lupi e alle volpi in Mongolia e nel nord Africa. Nel resto del mondo per caprioli in alta montagna. In italia la caccia con l'aquila ai caprioli è vietata, ma saebbe spettacolare...

Ho rimosso alcune righe ripetitive; a quanto pare han messo troppe virgole e ciò mi fa pensare che chi ha scritto l'articolo a sua volta l'ha convertito con il traduttore in inglese. Ecco un discorso articolato:

In occasione dell'assemblea annuale della IAF svoltasi nei Paesi Bassi, il voto per istituire questa Giornata Mondiale è stato approvato con unanimità.
Il 16 Novrembre di ogni anno i partecipanti dovranno incontrarsi con un argomento comune sul tema della Falconeria.
Gli obbiettivi principali sono:
-Promuovere il senso di appartenenza alla comunità dei falconieri;
-Aumentare la visibilità della Falconeria al resto della società;
-Promuovere la cooperazione per diverse iniziative a favore della Falconeria in ambito accademico, culturale, politico ecc...
L'approvazione da parte dell'UNESCO sulla Falconeria è uno degli avvenimenti più importanti nella storia del Patrimonio Culturale.
Lo slogan della Giornata Mondiale è: "Falconeria, celebrando un patrimonio umano vivente".

Per partecipare è sufficiente compilare il modulo sotto alla presentazione.
Gli eventi proposti dai membri di lavoro IAF o altri saranno valutati per l'eventuale inserimento nel programma che sarà proposto sul sito IAF, tramite comunicati stampa e comunicati dell'UNESCO.
Possono partecipare i club e le organizzazioni, falconieri anche non appartenenti alla IAF, enti pubblici e privati(anche senza fini commerciali od economici) e chiunque altro sia interessato.
Chiunque può prendere parte o chiunque vicino alla Falconeria senza distinzione di sesso, razza, religione con lo scopo di realizzare un'ottima immagine della Falconeria.
Per alimentare il senso di appartenenza al gruppo tutti sono incoraggiati ad utilizzare il logo; il suo utilizzo è gratuito ed è scaricabile dal sito della IAf.
La IAF non è responsabile di un utilizzo improprio dl logo. Se si vuole partecipare al programma, seguire le istruzioni riguardanti il modulo:

-Compila il modulo sottostante
-Dopo la compilazione inviare alla mail indicata la propria approvazione indicando il proprio gruppo di appartenenza
-Se la proposta verrà accettata il gruppo di coordinamento leggerà quanto proposto
-Quando il richiedente riceverà l'avvenuta registrazione nel programma, potrà utilizzare il logo IAF

  Anche io ho fatto il professionale eppure vinsi una borsa di studio di inglese per studiare giornalismo in Irlanda; avevo tempo anche per visitare l'intero stato, bellissimo...
